Check sum errors mean there's a problem reading and writing the data. If this used to work on this PC, it probably means Windows has "helpfully" updated your USB driver. Change it back to one of the older ones.

Ah. Assumption and all that.

Check your port settings in the Control Panel -> Device Manager -> COM and LPT ports.
Make sure they match the values in this document:
http://www.dtafast.co.uk/download_files ... ttings.pdf

Obviously you can ignore the USB references.

If those are correct and you're using the same cables as before, you've got a hardware issue, either on the PC, the serial cable or the ECU.

No problem, your English is better than my French.

There are different short cuts depending on what part of the software you are in. The different

IN 20 x 14 Main Maps
Alt Up Arrow Nudge Cell to Higher Value
Alt Down Arrow Nudge Cell to Lower Value
Alt Page Up Coarser Nudge Cell to Higher Value
Alt Page Down Coarser Nudge Cell to Lower Value

IN REAL TIME MAPPING
Shift F7 Ignition+
Cntrl F7 Ignition-
Shift F8 Fuel +
Cntrl F8 Fuel-
Cntrl P Knobs on/off (toggle)
Cntrl C Knobs coarse/fine
Cntrl K Stop Engine
Cntrl I Interp on/off
F6 Send Traced Cells to ECU
F7 Cam 1 target on left Dyno Box Knob
F8 Cam 2 target on right Dyno Box Knob

However, if you have check sum errors, you have communication problems, so I'd fix those first.

I'm having a similar problem, only F4 seems to work. Also when i try to change the map sensor values it won't allow me to save and a messgae pops up sayin 'idle parameters too low'
Sorry to hijack your thread

Where are you trying to set 'map sensor values' ?
There are just 2 settings for this sensor in 'DTAwin'
Presure at 5v i.e a 3 bar sensor will be 300kpa
And the offset +/- to correct to 1bar atmospheric at sea level
Have you made your mind up to use TPS+Map compensation as your load or Map as load????

I'm a little confused as you say you use an E48 but your signature says S40 Pro ??

On the DTAwin software the idle control page shares the pressure sensor calabration, you need to check that the idle parameters are in range when you save otherwise you will get the warning i.e.
Max duty Cycle % (1-100) = 0, this therefore would not be allowed

Where in the world are you, you may be next door!

When i signed up to this forum it wouldnt accept the E48 option for some reason.
Re map sensor, i'm planning on tps vs rpm with map for correction. From what ive been told this is the easiest way to do it unless someone here can tell me otherwise. Please just bear with me as i'm still gathering info on how it all works
