Re: Launch control
You must press the button to activate launch.
And if you have an adjustable Pot on Ana1 you can adjust base launch rpm from this.

Re: Launch control
No, you press the button to activate launch. You can then open the throttle and rpm will rise to your chosen start limit.
This base RPM can be adjusted from the rotary knob wired to Ana1.

Re: Launch control
Steve / anyone - as the Pot / rotary knob on ana1 has no calibration - can the limited rpm be adjusted whilst the button is pressed? Or do you just guess a position, push the button and plant yer foot and see what you get? Is there any resistance value relationship to rpm so you could wire up a selector switch, like most limiters have?

Re: Launch control
Not sure, it isnt something I ever used as I had a pot on Ana1 for traction control.
And as inputs arent flexible, I was stuck with one or the other...I chose TCS adjustability.
But I'd think if you are just using the normal launch ( and not launch vs time ) then you may be able to adjust the knob whilst on the limiter, to change rpm.
I'm sure Alex will be along to give more detail.

Re: Launch control
Yes you can swing the knob with the button pressed. the end points of the knob can be set in the software. On my car I have the low end of the knob set to 3000 rpm and the high 6000 rpm, so the mid point of the knob will give you about 4500 rpm
Or you can set in the software to hold the rpm when the button is first pushed, no need for a knob. just hold the throttle at say 5500 rpm hit the button and it uses that rpm; I can't do that on my car as the engine just goes mental if you even look at the throttle!

This statement is partly incorrect, you can have both traction and launch on a knob, I do!
However only on the S80/100

Do both not require Ana1 ?Rob Stevens wrote:Stevie said - 'And as inputs arent flexible, I was stuck with one or the other...I chose TCS adjustability.'
