crank/cam simulator

Post by stevieturbo »

Something that might be of interest for testing.

It's an Arduino based project where you can easily output some square wave crank/cam patterns using an Arduino nano.

Very cheap and relatively easy to do ( apart from the one I fucked up lol )

Nano's are cheap, the code/software is readily available online for it. Just add a rotary 10k pot to adjust rpm and away you go ( or use the software )

This is a version from a UK seller, where he's added his own sub-board with a few pots for 0-5v outputs for testing too ( which includes the rpm adjusting pot )

It's specifically intended for use with their Speedunio ecu project, although obviously it could be adapted for use with pretty much any ecu.

Top tip when testing...never set a PCB onto a metal object lol.

Same thing really, although I think it only ever offered he 36-1 ?

Plus anywhere I've found...it was a lot more expensive.
