There are pros and cons to both. Both work well, and the differences are minor.

The only time you can't really use speed density is on throttle bodies with big cams.

People also slate Alpha-N with turbo charged cars. Mine's a 500bhp Audi 20v turbo mapped on Alpha-N with MAP corrections.

If you're n/a probanly no big deal either way.

If boosted, IMO TPS vs RPM with MAP compensations is just more awkward for zero benefit in almost all cases ( ITB's aside )
