I have posted before that this feature, when set, can cause snatching when the throttle is released - as it suddenly cuts fuel to zero when throttle position hits zero.
Today, I successfully tested an alternative method which doesn't use this parameter at all. I set the fuelling to zero at throttle position zero above 1250rpm on the main fuelling map. Cutoff now comes in more softly - I guess because the system is fuelling to an interpolated value between the next throttle position and zero, rather than suddenly hitting zero.
This should, incidentally, fix a minor bug that I noticed whereby the real time monitoring screen still shows fuelling even when the cutoff parameter is active. I guess it just shows what should be happening according to the fuel map.
