Re: Auto tune
Nice tool, thanks 86sixsix. Trying to make it as stable and fast as possible through the full range gets me: P=108 I=11 D=0. Hmmmm....

Re: Auto tune
Your in "Custom" right? Make sure P is set to Proportional, it's set to Gain by default...
Troy made me realize this
I just redid this and it repeats fine with me.

Re: Auto tune
Hrm - so now I w onder how "accurate" this sim modeling is. Anyone want to go pop these settings into their ECU? lol
And, would this work for idle and o2?

That looks nice, I will try them this weekend if no one has tryed them before me.Simon P. wrote:Nice tool, thanks 86sixsix. Trying to make it as stable and fast as possible through the full range gets me: P=108 I=11 D=0. Hmmmm....
Re: Auto tune
I tried it last night. P-80, I-20, D-0 @ 30hz. It did a much better job than my previous settings. I will try P-108, I-11, D-0 tonight as that is more stable in the simulator, but I hadn't seen that in time.Jon K wrote:Hrm - so now I w onder how "accurate" this sim modeling is. You can only go up to 100 in the idle settings. But O2 and Cams lets you go with 1000. As Stevie says, I wish Allan would sort that out because it's confusing.

a loop is a loop.Jon K wrote:Hrm - so now I w onder how "accurate" this sim modeling is. Anyone want to go pop these settings into their ECU? lol

my get out disclaimer: just be aware - that's *just* a loop *simulator*... i found it on google (along with the other 50 billion pages that in black n white say how a PID works) ... it's pretty accurate to what i see in the real world as regards sticky valve flow that kinda deely and it'll help you guys see what these twiddly dials all do in s_win -
but you melt it - you on your own
