Honestly I would get it running with the stock exhaust cam so the cam timing is easy. There's no degree markings and so its kind of a "flying blind" thing. Some guys mod S50 cams to go in. What is the total setup like? Is it an NA or turbo motor?

Yeah, I did the dual intake cam swap. Its running really well right now so I don't think there is any need to revert back to stock cams - I did consider it at one point when I had issues earlier (on a different ECU).

The setup is a 2.5L NV M50, 0.120" mls, HX-35 and twinscroll manifold.

At the moment I'm just getting a good base tune down so I spend minimal time on the dyno.

I played with the injection angle, and it only made it run worse. I have it idling around 13.5 now pretty good and im happy with that for now.

Not really, because of the angle the dti needs to be on it makes it inaccurate. A lever type dial gauge may get in there better, but I have not tryed that yet.

I am happy with the cam timing how it is currently, and I will adjust them on the dyno and see what differences I get.

Troy fwiw I made 685 rwhp on a stock M50 non vanos head and cam setup. I have never really been a fan of the intake exhaust swap because you cannot reliably confirm it's lined up. The motors are REALLY picky about cam position.

Roverdose - ordinarily, since these motors are really picky on cam timing, we use a tool that locks over the back of the cams on a specific spot and holds them in the right position at TDC. With this setup Troy is running you can't do that as the one cam needs to be rotated like 45 deg and the bolt holes for the sprockets are all elongated so it can be a headache.

i use a tungsten tip in the end of my dti, very thin, gets passed most cams to get to the lifters.

looks like you could get something on them (if its the right engine!)

You can fit something in there - its just a huge pita vs stock cam ends. You can see the tool in that image. Flop it down, lock it up. Tighten gears. Boost!
