Check out the old Bosch valves. They were used on most old German cars, so you should be able to find them at a breakers. Also used on old Saab's and Volvo'sJon K wrote:Strange - yeah I tried the ford. I am now looking at a bosch 2 wire, but it ain't cheap. I really want to avoid it if I can.. but, it doesn't look like I can.
Check google images or egay for "bosch idle valve" and a wealth of choices come up. Some do seem pricey though

Yeah I have a bunch of BMWs (oldest is an 87 E30 325E) and the valve, though it could work, is real expensive. Simon is hooking me up, though.

Re: Adding fuel and pulling advance for dry nitrous
Hey guys - quick question and I think it'll be an affirmative... can I use the 5v output from the DTA through a switch back into an Analog input? So, AUX3 would look at Ana3 for > 4000mv and I'd turn that on via my switch on my dash?

Re: Adding fuel and pulling advance for dry nitrous
I see no reason why not. It would be no different than using it to supply any sensor which in turn sends a signal back to the ecu.

And it's exactly what you do for the pots for traction etc. 5v out, variable 0-5v back in to an analogue channel.

Awesome - I'll do that for now until I buy a pressure sensor.stevieturbo wrote:And it's exactly what you do for the pots for traction etc. 5v out, variable 0-5v back in to an analogue channel.
