I find lambda tuning most effective when you can hold a steady state either on the dyno or cruising. For the full throttle acceleration tuning I'll be looking for nice smooth power curves on the dyno screen whilst listening for changes in engine tone where the mixture has slipped out of it's optimum power window. I'd be eyeballing the lambda gauge and using the recorded lambda history during the runs to pinpoint the areas that need adjustment.
From a reasonable starting point the full throttle range can be tuned in 2 or 3 power runs
