is there any body out there that could help me with some battery compensations , i am using bosch 803 (green cossy ) injectors but carnt seem to find out any figures for them ?? as it is being swapped from grouped injection to sequential ?
cheers

First off, you must use ballast resistors if you are using those as they are low impedance.mr escort wrote:is there any body out there that could help me with some battery compensations , i am using bosch 803 (green cossy ) injectors but carnt seem to find out any figures for them ?? as it is being swapped from grouped injection to sequential ?

When it's running you can use the test to try and estimate injector dead time. Or just leave it at 0, or 1, or whatever really.
We tuned ecu's for many many years before this was ever dreamed up and never had any problems. So dont be too concerned about it.
Being changed from batch to sequential shouldnt matter for any queries you have raised.

You'll need to work out your own battery comps when using ballast resistors anyway. I'd suggest running the ECU/Injectors from a variable power supply and going through the on-board dead-time procedure, where it shift between 2-stroke and 4stroke while monitoring Lambda. Test it at the various voltages in order to make your battery compensation table.
Yes it's a pain, but at least it'll be accurate.

ok , change of plan then , im going to fit the bosch 0280155968 (green giant )(high imp) injectors , ive got from burton power , i have asked them but they dont have the info , so has any one out there got the data for these injectors ????

I just use .7ms across the board and don't get hung up about it. You do have a tool to use to get it spot on per Volt but you will have to run the engine from an adjustable voltage supply to make it work, you use 2 stroke mode, and the lambda readings. Bosh should have the data, however probably not perfect for your installation as the ecu can only go on its internal voltage, not that seen at the injector.

As before, dont worry about it. It isnt a big deal no matter what others will try and say.mr escort wrote:ok , change of plan then , im going to fit the bosch 0280155968 (green giant )(high imp) injectors , ive got from burton power , i have asked them but they dont have the info , so has any one out there got the data for these injectors ????

Cheers for the replies , it's never bothered me before , but the man on the dyno has asked me to find out, just doing as I'm told
