Is it possible to add another rpm sensor to log input shaft speed for centrifugal drag racing clutch slippage

You can log engine rpm and all 4 wheel speeds and can then use a math channel on E-Race to work out any clutch slip. But you will need to know what gear you are in also as the rpm to wheel speed ratio will of course change with gear, assuming you have a gearbox. If you don't use a gearbox you should be looking at a more sophisticated logger that adds an accelerometer in my opinion.

As above, one of the wheel speed inputs would be the most likely thing to use.
I dont think gear etc would matter, as you're measuring before the transmission ? So it would just be a case of playing with the numbers so the "speed" reading makes some sense.
eg if you had engine rpm of 0-8000, maybe configure speed reading so it is 0-80mph
Although I guess engine rpm vs actual driven wheelspeeds should also highlight any slippage ? Assuming actual wheelspin isnt a problem.

No on a Liberty manual. I need the speed of the input clutch shaft so I could log and compare the engine and input shaft speeds and see the clutch slippage.

It might actually be easier....
IF you could use say left undriven wheelspeed looking at a tooth on the crank/flywheel
And then right undriven wheelspeed looking at a tooth on the input shaft
That way speed calibration for both would be very easy and looking at logs any differences would also be very easy.
Actual speed readings would be less important.
OR.....you could do the above with undriven and driven if these are not used, and "wheel slip %" will be your clutch slip. No calculations required.
Although you would lose any vehicle speed reading if you did the driven/undriven method.

Yes I'm using unripen wheel speed for boost control with vehicle speed.
I think it's not possible and considering for an independent data logger

Just log both rear (driven) wheel speeds also, this will show up clutch slip without fail

If undriven wheels are for boost control
Then maybe use the R/L driven wheel speed channels as I describe above ?
Or as Rob says, if you were sure there is no wheelspin, you should be able to see slippage between rpm and driven wheel speed, although it might be a little harder to work out percentages at the input shaft.
