Hi,

I have a Laptop with Win7 64bit and the DTA Swin V79.02 runs perfekt.

Now I have a Pc at my Engine testbench with Win7 32 bit and the DTA Swin V79.02 and V80.07 and the software does not work very well.
The Windows 7 32bit has been reinstalled.
When I start the DTA software, left below in red "Click Here to Unlock Map" and click to unlock the Map, a error message appears. "Map not transferred succesfully, Please Try Again"
Sometimes mistakes appear in the visualization and the software crashes.

Regards Stefan

Almost all comms issues etc relate to the USB-serial adaptor, or whatever adaptor you are using.

Can you try another or a direct serial connection ?

Hi,

I can try to use another adapter, the PC hasen't a serial input.
For the laptop, I used the same adapter as the PC. .

Use this document to check the driver version, and update it if necessary:

IMO find a computer with a serial port, that will allow you to rule out an ecu problem.

But it is most likely the adaptor.

Have you ever communicated correctly with any DTA ecu with the setup you are using ? Or is it just this one ?

If you want me to look at your PC with TeamViewer, send an email.

Hi,
Today, since march trying to solve the connection problem. I have found the problem, I have tried 3 different serial adapters and one of it works perfectly now.
