Is there any way to make data logging 100hz or better with more than 6 items

Not with the current hardware, no.

Would it be possible to offer a streaming service to log more/fast on the laptop ?

Not a perfect solution, but maybe an option somewhere down the line ?

Not sure it's possible over serial, but it's already being mulled over.

I've used other ecu's that stream via serial.

The cheapy Alcatek's I use on Subarus offers around 30 items every 0.06s for some odd reason looking at the logs.
It seems to get faster when there are less items being logged, one log with only a dozen items was down to 0.04s.

You can to a certain degree choose the items depending on which tuning screen you are using.

Maybe not possible to get right town to 100Hz, but perhaps a more wider and varied selection, and certainly for a longer period ?

Yup, that's exactly what I'm thinking of. I just need to clone myself now...

Or create a 72 hour day..... Can you slow down time for others ? lol

And then build it in a standalone logging device so we dont really need a laptop lol

Presumably you couldnt do such things via bluetooth or CAN ?

I know CAN itself can be fast enough, but maybe not the setup in use with the ecu here ?

Alex I think it's time DTA makes a new superior version competitive with other brands in the market now a days

As Alex says, it's all down to having time to do it.

That's next year's plan. Software is nearly done, so hardware next. I'm a bit excited about that. :D
