Hi,
Is it possible to pull the fuel pump pin to ground via software to run the pump without the engine running, or do I need to fit a physical switch for this scenario?
Thanks

Re: Fuel Pump Trigger
there is no option to do this (other than in the test options), just fit a switch from the pump output pin to ground to pull in your relay.

Re: Fuel Pump Trigger
Are there not warnings for injector/coil test that you manually need to disable the pump because i will activate during these tests ?
So in a roundabout way you can test it....but you may then need to unplug/disable your injectors and coils depending on the purpose of the test.
Ability to test each and every output on the ecu via the software should be on the to do list....it's handy.

Re: Fuel Pump Trigger
Be cool to do it via CAN..
Thanks for answering my original question, I'll stick a switch into the diagram.

Re: Fuel Pump Trigger
no need for switch, can be done from software when pc connected via test injectors and coils

Re: Fuel Pump Trigger
How often would you ever need to do this without the engine running ?

Re: Fuel Pump Trigger
I always wire the fan and fuel pump on a 3 position switch middle pin to the relay earth top pin from the ecu and bottom pin to earth so you have ecu control, off and manual override.
