Hello All,
I have made a lot of logs from my Alfa Giulia Super with 2.0 Twinspark Turbo engine with P8Pro ECU.
In the DTA log (automatic log) I see that the Throttle position is not logged correctly. I see minimum values of about 28% and maximum of 80%, although I have made runs with 0% throttle and 100% throttle. I use Excel to read my log files.
The readings in DTA (during realtime) are OK.
Does somebody know what can be wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings,
Rogier.

can only imagine you have a faulty throttle pot or throttle linkage.
Re: "Strange values" in DTA log from Throttle signal
Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I don't think it's a problem with the throttle pot or linkage because I see correct values in DTA in real time mapping and real time info.
What I also see, when I import the log data in Excel is that the data is seperated by a spaces. In the past when I made logs files, the data was seperated with semicolon. So maybe this can be the cause of the problem.
But, how to change it?
Kind regards,
Rogier.

Just use E-Race to view logs. It's easier, and it's designed for the job.
And when you import log files into Excel, you chose the separators.. That's how you change. But it should be very obvious looking at the imported text file to see if anything is in the wrong place.

I had a similar problem where my region setting downloaded the file and separated the decimals by ,'s instead of .'s
Found 3 different solutions with Philip
1- he wrote a beta to allow that setting
2- edit the file on excel and replace ,'s by .'s
3- change the region setting on my laptop to match MLV type.
Maybe is something similar, I do remember having erratic values for TPS and no lambda...now working perfectly.

I do have an issue that u still haven't been able to make the traction control to work.
I do have all 4 wheels signals, driven and undriven, just can't get the TC to activate.
I can send you my calibration so you take a look at it? I think Mike told me you sorted it out.
Best
