Re: CAN
Look up AIM CAN protocol, I know someone had a DTA connected to an MXL and it 'just worked' supposedly.

Re: RT MK3 + S80 via CAN
OK, now I've got the Config file from RT.
lumley 32 was right, filtering not used. Also it utilize standard Intel byte order. Analysis V8 software detects needed variable channels from DTA CAN but all have no data.
Now trying adjust DASH4 to show data directly from ECU without success. Dash indicates all analogues from datalogger but nothing from ECU. Still try..

Re: CAN
You can use Lite-monitor on the computer to view the data from the CAN adaptor
But as said, I tried this for a few days and gave up. The config file RT sent did not work, and they offered no help at all either via email or their forum.
All I can say is good luck.

Re: CAN
Ignition Autosport, we used AIM MyChron 3 Visor dash last year that receives all data from S80 CAN bus. Works fine and CAN protocol specs no needed because it's fully plug&play unit. I've tried to find some info in AIM software and manuals but only channels name described and no more.
