DtaSwin with E48 is it backwards compatible?

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can use the DtaSwin software to control a e48 ecu? I can open a map in there but will it work with the ecu without issues?

Swin will not work with the old units.

The maps load so you can upgrade and use the new software and import your old map for ease of transfer.

Although all settings within that map must be checked to ensure a smooth transfer.

So the answer is no.
