1. Connect to ecu, ecu powered on.
2. Unlock ecu ( click red bit on bottom left of screen. It should go from red to black which allows you to change stuff )
3. Select File/Open ( Upload from disc )
4. select the file you wish to upload.
5..that's it really, it should be done.

Don't beleive the voltage on the laptop screen using DTA software, ours has always showed a low voltage. Check with a handheld voltmeter, which iif it is the sane as ours will show correctly.

If you have a big voltage difference between what you measure at battery and what your DTA is showing you have a ground offset. Double check your grounds for the ECU. It should not be very far off at all.

Thanks Jon, we tried seperate lives and earths, doubled up etc, everything else read correctly except the battery voltage which always shows low. We just ignore that now, done around 9,000 miles without any problems.

It's that long since we tried to sort it I can't remember, but it was something like around 11 or 12 volts when charging at around 14

Well..
Im only going on what the mapper said to me.. if ECU mapped at XX voltage. then if you are running at lower voltage the pulses to the injectors wont be right.. sounds perfectly plausible to me.

DTA SW was showing 12.5..
tested under load at local garage and only 11.5-12v at idle.. but 13.8-14.1v when you blip it a little, wouldnt go over 14v when at 4000.
fitted new alternator and 14.1v at idle and solid at other revs also.
