injection pulse length and utility rate in log

Post by x30xe »

I see 77% utility rate of injector pulses in log but injection times are not willing to follow upwards what I set to fuel map.

Before I dig deeper into the mud, I'd like to ask, has anybody else seen these kind of oddities. Could it be so that injector dead time takes the rest of the 23% and my injectors cannot flow more ? I'm running 6cyl with distributor, so there are plenty of injector pulses per each crank revolution... so lots of dead time too.

I've been in illusion that dead time is included into the injection time seen in the log. At least it pretty much like a map value + dead time and some interpolation of course. But this makes me think again.

Are you using an online translator ?

Injector pulse width at the injector is IJPW + Dead time. ( including any compensations )

Can you upload a log and explain better the problem ?

You are seeing 77% duty cycle, but increasing fuel numbers does not yield more fuel ?
