Also make sure you install as an administrator, as other users may not have enough permissions.

Update!

I did change the setting regarding size on the screen. It is a link in Windows screen resolution that says "Make text and other items larger or smaller".
In this mode, if I change from 100% to 125%, it works fine. It just needs a restart of Windows, but that is alright.
With this change, I dont have the empty fields and have not have any issues setting up my engine setup.

The blank fields must be because the resolution is so small on that HD setting, they appear blank, although arent really.

As an aside, I run in 1920x1080 too with no text issues like the OP.

Definitely, but that's a massive project. Don't hold your breath, unless you like blue. ;)
VB6 to .Net isn't a simple upgrade unfortunately.

I've completed the sale of my other business, and have some holiday planned next month. At this rate, I might even get some development done in September!! :o :shock:
