Also make sure you install as an administrator, as other users may not have enough permissions.
Re: Screen resolution
Update!
I did change the setting regarding size on the screen. It is a link in Windows screen resolution that says "Make text and other items larger or smaller".
In this mode, if I change from 100% to 125%, it works fine. It just needs a restart of Windows, but that is alright.
With this change, I dont have the empty fields and have not have any issues setting up my engine setup.
Cheers

Re: Screen resolution
The blank fields must be because the resolution is so small on that HD setting, they appear blank, although arent really.

I get that, damned annoying when you have to keep scrolling and resizing to find hidden options at the bottomRob Stevens wrote:I have the same issue as Stevie where you have to manipulate the window size to view all info.
As an aside, I run in 1920x1080 too with no text issues like the OP.

Definitely, but that's a massive project. Don't hold your breath, unless you like blue.Jon K wrote:Sparrow any plans on giving DTASwin a face lift?
VB6 to .Net isn't a simple upgrade unfortunately.
I've completed the sale of my other business, and have some holiday planned next month. At this rate, I might even get some development done in September!!
