Screen resolution

Post by fyrken »

DTAresolutionissue.jpg
Hello,

I have some issues with the screen resolution on Windows 7.

I am running 64 bit Win 7
Screen resolution is 1920 x 1080

For some reason I cannot see the entire text in menus in DTASwin.
I have tried to change screen resolution and also text and menu sizes in Windows, all without sucess.
Do any of you know how to fix this?

I'v tried to upload an image, but I'm not quite sure if I succeeded.
Cheers
Erik

Strange, not something I've come across.

Only similar effect is when the window is too small you may not see some numbers, although I've never tried a resolution that high

Likewise, I've not seen a loss of text like that. I have the same issue as Stevie where you have to manipulate the window size to view all info.
Doesn't help much I know.
Try changing the screen resolution? but that will effect all programs I guess.

My screen is 1920 x 1080 and I don't see that either.
What size is the screen?

I wonder deep in Windows somewhere....have you selected a larger than standard font size for text ?

Something odd is going on there. How have you managed to clear all the values from the fields? That shouldn't be possible.

When you installed the software, did you get any warnings or error messages?

That was my first thought. Looks very odd.

I generally use on a netbook with a driver hack to give more virtual height pixels so I can see everything, though that's a different issue again.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all replies!
I can't remember that I had issues when installing the software, but I can try it again.

As I said, changing the screen resolution in Windows doesn't help.
I can't find any setting in Windows text size that would help, but I'll look further into it.

Regarding values, I am still trying to configure my setup (Volvo 5 cyl) but I do struggle with inputing these fields. However, this is not a stopper at the moment since I am still connecting some sensors and I'm not quite not ready for start-up.

Cheers!

re-install the software, as Sparrow says even ignoring the text issue, there are blank entry fields which should never happen.
