Ok we are making little steps..
I'm not a tuner, can build an engine for my work i'm an IT Expert.

So i need to learn now very fast.

Why i've still 1.8ms on the injector pulse width?

The water temp compersation is zero with the cool water temp at this moment.
The engine will not start on it's own power, need to adjust some breake cleaner :p

It just runs good with a lambda 1 only a little too much rpm :o

You've 1.8ms because of the interpolation(1.5ms@1500 rpm -> 0.78ms@2000rpm) @1741rpm.

If the engine is not starting correctly, then you'll have to check the start fueling map...

ok so when is change the 0,78 in row 5 it would give me a lower value on the IPW @ the same RPM. Like said need to learn fast.. Car needs to got to the tuner but my goal is to have a little progress in the base map

Air temp correction, at a guess - which should be set to recommended values (the software tells you this) and you wouldn't normally look at.

And correct, interpolating between 0.78 and 1.5 won't give 1.8. Of course. ;)

Also: best thing I can recommend is use is a knob box. Just make one if you're even slightly handy with a soldering iron. It's the handiest thing for quickly changing the mixture on initial startup, and even handier when you tune on a dyno.

Because the interpolation between .78 and 1.5 would give you an injection pulse of approximately 1.1 then you have to add the injector dead time of .7 and you get the 1.8 thats displayed

thx for the response..
My tuner has a dyno box..

Just talked to him, got some tips also from him and we are going to get the engine stable in idle and start. When this all is ok we go to the dyno and will remap the complete system.

:)

I thought this was obvious...

corsaboy, if you are to remap the engine completely, then I would suggest you to use MAP as the main load as you have a turbo engine, and use the throttle input for acceleration enrichment.

Ok, will look at that, thx marco..
The engine is now running in closed loop mode..

Every day i get a little better control over the cold start.
Engine can now be started without break-cleaner.. Not in once but will get there..

Still learning in the world of mapping a engine :) I'm a quick learner so we will get it done soon

Thanks everyone for helping out..
I'll post some update also here..

Well, need to update this topic..

We did check the mapping and we are for 100% sure that it only can be a problem with the previous DTA. Alex did repair it, it needed a complete new systemboard..

also checked all the previous mappings but the DTA has never been in two stroke mode when we look at the settings in the mapping..
Now we have increased the fuel map with 100% and she is running great so the unit must be in two stroke mode in the past.. Because we could not map the engine in the past on a nice idle with a good lambda target.. Now whitout problems..

Thanks again to all for helping out..
