finding pins for an o.e peugeot/citroen connector?

Post by welshpug »

looking to source some pins for a round multiplug to build a new loom for my Citroen ZX, to save making 13 solder joints to old wire!

not sure who makes the housings but here's a picture of the pin concerned (click for a larger image...)

Have had a look at VWP Polevolt and Simtek without any luck, any other suggestions?

here's a borrowed image of the connector type

Looks very similar to Econoseal, but you'd need to buy one to check

Or possibly some of the Sumitomo

thanks, they look similar, but these plugs dont have male/female pins, both plugs use the same type.

I found the part numbers and prices on Servicebox Peugeot, theyre about 40p each, no guarantees they'll sell me any though but worth a try!

I think I'd rather make 13 solder joints and heatshrink rather than use a French connector!

I need to use the connector regardless Martin  its where the engine loom connects to the car loom :)
