you only have 4 coil drivers so you will have to double up on just 3 outputs, assuming this doesn't drawer too much current if there is no built in cop amplifier

I think the DTA range should be
S20
S40
S80
S100
S20
S40
S80
S100

Pretty sure the M50 coils are not amplified, so that won't work. S80 required.Rob Stevens wrote:you only have 4 coil drivers so you will have to double up on just 3 outputs, assuming this doesn't drawer too much current if there is no built in cop amplifier

I've run 2 cop coils from one output before on an E48 but I can't for the life of me remember if they may have been in series?
Re: S60 and m50b25 individual coils !!!
i have run on s40 a couple of years ago...4 coils on 2 outputs...they was amplified...
but i decided to change it on coil pack and leads...cause of the pre-sparking of the amplified coils
my opinion, change your setup on one single coil pack for six cylinders...end of story

Or run external amplifiers to drive the coils and have the DTA trigger them as pairs ?Alex DTA wrote:Pretty sure the M50 coils are not amplified, so that won't work.
