I'm fitting a DTA provided loom into an MG ZR with a K series engine. The loom has two connectors for the fuel pump relay and two for the fan relay.
I'm assuming these are for the coil side of the relays and that they effectively bypass the engine management relay.
Does this sound right?

if thats 2 female spade connectors then yes coil side of the relay sounds right.
not sure what you mean by bypassing the engine management relay?

Thanks for that.
According to the wiring diagram for the ZR the relay is supplied through another relay labeled "engine managment".

Re: Rover K Series Relays
ahh i think i know it as the main relay as im used to the older rovers.
yeah main relay does provide power for the other relays, but i thought that was the switch side of the relays, the ecu controlled the coil side, which the dta will do now. iirc as not wired one for a while now.

Re: Rover K Series Relays
be something like this...
main relay gets battery power, ecu earths the coil. the main relay then powers everything else.
