Wiring loom conversion

Post by SuperGTMK »

Hello, I am new to this forum. My name is Keith and I have a GTM K3 kit car with a modified MGF Engine. Originally I had a DTA EXP 48 ECU that was tuned by Road and Track to 151 bhp at the wheels. But since then a garage managed to burn out my ECU and I need to replace it with an ignition only S40. Now i am told that a wiring loom connection is needed to link the old EXP 48 to the new S40, where can I buy such a loom? I would be very grateful for any help! Thank you in advance, Keith

You could try DTA...but I suspect that is something you'll either need to make yourself, or have someone make.

MEF Motorsport is another option.

For ignition only though, it should be a fairly simple piece.

Indeed, it should be only about 8 wires and you just need to wire on the new connector. the map should copy over if you have it.
