Wiring Help

Hi,

I'm re-wiring my car, and wondered if someone could cast their eye over the messy wiring diagram I have below.

Image

This is the first iteration of it, and my first ever wiring diagram. So if it's rubbish, or I've made a glaring mistake, I won't be offended if you point it out, nicely, or by making me feel like an idiot

This is just the chassis side of things, I want to get this nailed before moving onto the engine wiring loom. Use this as a bit of a practice run, so to speak. Get used to crimping, running wires, etc, etc.

In the past I've wired relays with ground switching, so I wire 30 and 85 with a shared +12v, then have a switched ground to toggle the relay. Is that OK?

Thanks

Ecu will turn on fuel pump, cooling fans are handy too.

Not sure if you're implying that you will have separate switches to turn on injectors, coils etc separately ? No real need for that if you are.

One switch will basically power up ecu/engine related items, normally the ignition key but a switch if you like.

I think the likes of brake lights are often wired live switched.....makes less sense to run both a live and ground, when you can just run a live and ground locally ?

Horn?, Heater Fan?, Rear Screen? Screen Washer? - obviously for road car but useful in a comp. one also. As steve says ignore the coils / injectors (if controlled via an ecu) likewise fuel pump. The wiring for the indicators isn't correct as shown. I used to enjoy wiring.....not now LOL!

Totally forgot about radiator fans, as well as some form of lighting at the front of the car.

I've not had any comforts in the car for a long time, including a horn, heater, screen wash, etc. It's a circuit car, I find lashings of rain/fog-x is all that's needed.

I need to drill down into the workings of the indicators, it's drawn up a little wrong, I'll have two earth triggers from separate buttons.

Thanks for your input so far :)
