Bumpity bump.

I lot of googling seems to suggest this tool is damn close to correct, or actually corrrect ?

Thoughts or alternatives ?

I see another ecu upgrade in the future that moves back to these connectors, so I'll need to make some loom adjustments.

I have a kit like that, but none of the jaws offer a round crimp.

Although not as fancy as the bigger ratchet crimp listed, I've ordered this. It seems to do the same size metri-pak listed for the bigger unit listed in my last post and is a round die, so should be ok.

Well it's ordered so will see how it goes.

It lists the same two Metripak sizes the other bigger version does. If this fails will just buy it.

Sorry, I'm late to the party here...
Stevie, neither of those that you are looking at will work - the metripack/weatherpack round crimp is designed to crimp around the rubber seals so they are way too big for the superseal 1.0 where the round crimp is directly onto the insulation.
The closest low cost suitable crimper I have seen is the "T-10 Micro crimper" from whites products: http://www.whiteproducts.com/cetools.shtml

adamw (above) said that the T10 micro crimper was the one that worked, I'm not convinced since it needs to roll the 2 barbs in a circle around the insulation. I have asked the US ebay seller who sells this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WEATHERPACK-P ... 35c17c47e5 if he can supply T10 and he says he can and will list one soon. I will put up the link when it appears and we can take a look at it.

I originally asked about that one with ProWire, they said no. The Delphi 270 I linked above is the best option for the Motec type pins.

But I can confirm 100% the T18 I bought...not a fucking chance it will work lol Another few quid down the drain, although it's a decent looking crimp tool for the ones it will fit.
