For reference as I decided to waste more money lol

T-10 does look ideal as others have said. I didnt make any crimps but did squeeze up some OEM crimps to see if it changed shape etc and for most part it's all good.

I use these crimping pliers from rs components and can highly recommend them, you need to crimp the insulation seperately so it's a two step process.

uk.rs-online.com/web/p/crimp-tools/0468686/

Also I don't like the way some people wrap the crimp legs around the insulation as it provides very little mechanical strength, instead I prefer to crimp this bit too so the legs pierce the insulation which makes a very strong and tidy job. I'll see if I can find some pics.

OEM, so presumably correct tool wrap the sheath crimp around the sheath as opposed to like a W crimp squeezing the ends into it.

For most part it shouldnt make any odds as the wires should never be getting pulled hard, and the style of connector lends itself well t pin removal

Ultimately as long as the crimp is nice and tight and close to round it'll be an easy fit in the connector.

The tool I have crimps round on that end (in one crimp), nice and snug and never had an issue. 'M' or "w" on the wire part.

Found this...

http://www.cycleterminal.com/amp-1.0-superseal.html

Page of AMP Superseal connectors and crimps, at the bottom is a tool they recommend. Looks like the same T10 tool, cost is £46 to the UK (current exchange rate).

Also this one for eBay lovers...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282054260741

I haven't tried any of these personally but they look to be the same part, so useful to have alternative sources.

The one you're listing does indeed look like the T10

I've found from experience that the crimp tool with the red handles https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282054260741 is best for curling the tangs around the insulation (A & B) but the part that crimps the main crimp is a bit too tight (E) and (D) is not tight enough on 22awg wire but OK on 18awg etc. also OK on 22awg if you double the stripped wire back on itself.

So I use this one for the main crimp https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Molex-Style- ... 0009.m1982 and the red handles one above for the tangs. Inexpensive too at £11 !

Its a nuisance have to use 2 tools and 2 operations per pin but its cost effective and makes a proper job of crimping the pins.

That's what I thought Stevie, so I ordered another one for when my existing one gets lost in the tool box! Its a no brainer at £11 !

Strangely when I view the listing...it says "Does Not post to United Kingdom" in big red letters lol....strange for a UK seller.
