Hi, I'm relatively new here.
I bought a second hand DTA S60 about a year ago. It came with a loom supplied by DTA for a vauxhall C20Let engine. The loom is top notch and would have cost upwards of £300 to buy.
I'd like to swap the connectors where applicable for a Ford zetec/st170 engine. Of course I'll have to check the pinouts on the ecu are correct, but can anyone give me a reason why this can't be done?
The other option is to sell the loom and start afresh but I'll never match the quality of this one with my own abilities.

Re: Convert loom for different engine
The ecu doesnt really care what the engine is.
I'd think only a small handful of items would need changed, if even that.
If the loom fits and wires go close to where you need them, then work away.

Yeah, it will be great, just change the injector connectors or whatever to suit your engine. Good score.
