The other option if there is no pullup and it wasnt 5v, just wire the 5v to one side f the switch and the other to the Ana input ?

No resistors, no messing.

If you dont need one though, that's 20p and less wiring, win win !

Stevie's right, it's not about the $, it's about making it less complexe :D
But that being said I bought a pack of 5 for 1$USD so I should still be OK to feed my family this week ;)
