Hi All
Whilst tweaking the start fueling map it decided to not fire up. After the Third start.
After a bit of investigation I seen to have lost fuel and Spark signals.
The crank sensor is sending a signal and there is 12v to the coils but no 12v to the injectors.
The map seemed to be corrupted as there was some odd numbers in the general engine settings. So I installed a good map but it still won't fire, I'm a bit concerned it burn out one or more of the outputs
Thanks for any help in advance
I'm a bit concerned my P8pro is goosed

12v at injectors or coils comes from your wiring, not the ecu.
Do you have ecu comms ?
Do all sensors appear to read normally when connected ?
Does fuel pump prime as normal on power on ?
Do you get an rpm signal when cranking ? How does such info appear on Diagnostic screen during cranking etc ?

Does fuel pump prime as normal on power on? yes I'm getting good fuel pressure at the rail and both fuel pumps are working when the immobiliser is switched off[/color]
Do you get an rpm signal when cranking ? yes it's shows an ac voltage on my multimeter How does such info appear on Diagnostic screen during cranking etc ?yes it shows about 150 rpm on the real info page

I assume the coil and injector test doesn't work either.
Try hooking coils/injectors up to any spare outputs you have to confirm if the output drivers have failed.

So then you need to investigate why the wiring on your car no longer provides 12v to the injectors.
That is a wiring fault with the vehicle, nothing to do with the ecu

You can also see if the ECU is getting a crank signal by looking for the RPM while cranking in the diagnostic display.
If there is no RPM, there will be no output from the ECU.

It appears he has an rpm signal ok.
Eveything being said points to a fault with the vehicle wiring, not ecu related.

Thanks Stevie your a star.stevieturbo wrote:It appears he has an rpm signal ok.

I retested all the relays and fuses on the ecu/ fuel pump circuit and found one of the terminals not providing 12v. Swapped out the relay and it started.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
