OBD port.

Post by Paul Hassell »

Evening all, is it possible to wire in an OBD port to a T2, my thought is to have an OBD reader Bluetoothed to my phone to keep a check on pressures, temperatures etc during an event.
TIA

Well you can wire it to a 16 pin connector.....

But you will get nothing from it that any generic OBD reader will be able to do anything with.

I think Realdash might be one of the cheapest products out there that might offer something http://realdash.net/index.php

Thanks for the replies, it looks like both of those options are for the S series only, I guess a T series option will be released in due course.

There is no serial stream on the T series.

Realdash can do CAN ?

With CAN, almost any dash display should be able to work, or there are guys who do stuff with Arduino to make cheap displays.

Never heard of them before, but this seems to be a range of "not as expensive as others" displays....still not mega cheap by any means though

I didn't know RealDash did CAN. Interesting.

CanChecked have been around for about 6 or 7 years now. They have our CAN stream, as we tested it after PMW one year
