Drew, that's a nice design....
I did suggest to Allan at DTA that they should have a standard bracket available, something along the lines of yours but maybe a flat panel, a bit bigger than the ecu so you could bolt it to something. He wasn't keen though, said that velcro is good enough! Personally I think the ecu deserves mounting in a more professional manner than velcro!
I do sometimes get asked by customers for a bracket and did consider getting something suitable made up. Also there's the security issue to consider, these are expensive items so possibly vulnerable to getting nicked, a fixed attachment bracket would make it much harder to remove than velcro.
In my new car I have a fully folded alloy sheet clamp that holds it in solidly.
Worth thinking about this.
