I'm no great expert but have been playing with boosted Bikes for a while now and when I started I had the same opinion regarding using Large injectors and poor idle performance ie The two were not compatible!
But i've since had my mind changed after seeing modern Turbo'd Busa's, ZX12R's etc, 1300cc, 1200cc and even 1000cc 4 bangers blown to 2+bar boost and using 4 x 1500 or 1600cc/min injectors and be perfectly drivable. ECU's vary between Motec, Magnetti Mineralli, KMD and others. These motors are regularly at or over 500hp and 600-650hp is quite possible. This obviously doesn't excuse using properly sized injectors but overly large isn't the perceived problem it once might have been!

The modern injectors from Bosch, Injector Dynamics etc are very very good.
Ive used 2000cc injectors on a 2.3 4cyl turbo with Motec and it'll still happly idle in the 14.x range, and that's with uprated cams etc too.
Times have moved on.
