I'm tuning my new install just now and wanted to know if it would be better tuning with interpolation off. My method is driving, reviewing the AFR log and making changes. Once it runs good without closed loop I'l then turn it on. Since I am primarily using AFR log, should I keep interpolation on or off for the best results?
Cheers.

Re: using interpolation when tuning
I think best results with it off, I think that's what DTA recommend. however if you are trying to tune on the road you will never be able to hold it right on one cell properly anyway.

Re: using interpolation when tuning
Interpolation off is purely for steady state dyno tuning.
