I have used it on a 130 mm wheel but i had 4 teeth on it. Tooth needs to be 8 mm wide & high (10 mm is better) to keep up in high rews (? 8500rpm).

You'd be better of with VR dedicated to crank duty as mentioned.

Yeah.. whent for a Subaru vr sensor
