Hi everybody! My first post and all...

So i was wondering is it necessary to put 2 water temp sensors etc. or could i just use one sender for both (S60 ecu and Aim Pista dash).

Are sensors that came with Aim kit accurate enough for ecu use? Any experience?

AFAIK, the AIM can communicate with the DTA via serial or CAN.

So no extra sensors should be required unless you want to view info over and above what the DTA is already reading.

So a serial adaptor would be the easiest and neatest solution. Only downside is you cant have the comms lead and serial connected at the same time.

connects the dashboard, for CAN, and you'll have all the info on the screen. configured by CAN AIM to s60, and s60 in standard CAN

Have wired up an S80 and MXL before, the guy setting up the software didn't have too hard a time getting it to work over CAN.
