DTA s40 aircooled engine looooooong CRANK

Hello everyone,
I had my bus 1914cc with a vw speedshop fuel injection system,
The basic map was right and some how, it was starting from cold ok,
But now it have developed a extremely case of long crack, i had to renew the Crankshaft sensor, as in the diagnoagic page the engine was no shincroing, and at least the bus starting, after pressing the pedal several times,
Can someone recommend any solutions for this issue please?
