Hi All the DTA S60 on my project Caterham is firmware version 52.00 on hardware version 5.
I need to update to complete my engine swap from VX to Duratec, so need to update the firmware (or find an old version of DTA Swin). First thing I need to do is make up a Flash lead. It looks like the shells of my serial lead could be disassembled for access, so is it just a case of adding a momentary switch across 2 pins?
Will it update Ok with such a big gap in firmware versions, or should I be looking for some older intermediate versions and doing it in steps? I guess the software will talk to the ecu if I can get it to above version 70.00?

Use this version of SWin:

Flash lead requires a NO switch across pins 8 and 13.
