I recently made a custom shift linkage and replaced nylon bushings with 932 bearing bronze.

The new linkage is stainless steel (304L) and the added weight/mass makes shifting great!

Re: Creating bronze bushings in place of nylon
Nice work, could you have gotten a small needle roller in there ?
Im going to be modifying my clutch pedal soon to get rid of the nylon bush. It's old and worn. Will probably try a needle roller setup.
if I can be bothered to take it all apart lol

Re: Creating bronze bushings in place of nylon
Yeah you can do a roller bearing setup but trust me the bronze is pleeeenty slick.
The prob with the needle bearing is that the hole is the wrong side so the closest size needs to have the hole opened up some annoying amount... like 0.005" or something. Its lame.
