Re: S Dash
Very cool!
Would be awesome to offer a very skinny small box just as a graduated LED shift light that hooks up serial/can. I would love that!

Re: S Dash
As Sdash user I downloaded page 1 to 36 from the old forum some time ago...YES.
I will put it back onto this forum if someone can tell me how.
I've got 36 pdf's (from 190 to 5500 kB) or 1 file ( 12MB )

I can live in hope.

I'm working on it(4.3” 480x272 color and 7” 800x480 color screens)stevieturbo wrote:I'd just like the display with a bigger screen lol

For the SDash users, I've one little firmware update, but it only relates to the auto detection function.
Re: S Dash
Thanks Drew, although, a lot has changed since!

Releeuw, that would be cool, because I didn't save anything on my PC
Motec sell’s something similar, although it’ll cost you more than my display alone.Jon K wrote:Would be awesome to offer a very skinny small box just as a graduated LED shift light that hooks up serial/can. I would love that!

Of course the other next option is a tablet app, either windows or Android lol
Android perhaps best given the vast array of Android phones. Maybe even via WiFi
Am I really asking that much ? lol

I love it Stevie - I wish I was more of a software developer. FWIW there are RS232 to Bluetooth transmitters, you could output the serial stream to bluetooth

Re: S Dash
Only problem with bluetooth, is it is very slow ?
Although Moates and I think some other systems do allow programming of ecu's via a bluetooth connection. So perhaps the latest bluetooth stuff is faster than of old.
I did buy a cheapy OBD bluetooth thingy, for use with my phone. And it does work. Updates are not overly fast, but that could also be in part the speed of the datastream from the OEM ecu. I know that even with a wired connection, updates of multiple items can be slow.
I'm sure for those with the know how, writing an app would be easy.
