Sagem (2 526 040 A) Coil Pack

Hi.

Can i run this pack plug and play on my p8?

Pin1 from ECU against GND (pot 1 and 4)
Pin2 from ECU against GND (pot 2 + 3)
Pin3 2,2uF capacitor against GND
Pin4 12V+


And i dont have the capacitor.
Do need to get one?

I think they look just like an ordinary coil,if so should work fine, not sure what the capacitor does.

Where did the info come from that says you need a capacitor ?

It does google as a fairly old coilpack, so assume regular inductive coils.

But never used one before so cant comment for sure.

I got a VAG dis coil with pull-up resistor's in de trigger wire's

Works perfect
